Year 1 Phonics Scores
We are very proud of all the pupils and staff who work hard together to ensure that all pupils continually progress to become fluent confident readers.
Our year 1 pupils undertook the national phonics assessment in June; we are pleased to announce that 77.8% of our pupils achieved the expected standard. For those pupils who did not manage to pass this year they will get another chance to undertake the assessment in June 2024. We will be ensuring that they get targeted support to support them reaching the expected standard.
