Uniform
Uniform is valued at St Paul’s Walden School, as it helps children to feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school. Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name. If your child mislays an item of clothing or equipment, please ask about it promptly, as we do not have the space to hold onto lost property for a long time.
School bags should be a suitable size. They need to be able to take an A4 folder without squashing corners, but not too large as space is restricted in the class cloakrooms. The preferred style is school book bags or messenger type bags, not rucksacks.
If you wish to buy uniform items with the school's logo on them, you can buy them from Beat School Uniforms. Beat have our uniform in stock in their Hitchin shop (4 - 5 Hermitage Road) and also have an online store.

School PE kit
PE kit should be brought into school on the beginning of term and taken home regularly to be washed. It should all be in a named PE bag. Long hair must be tied up.
The school PE kit consists of:
Team t - shirt, in the colour of your child's house
Blue plain shorts in summer or for indoor PE, plain blue tracksuit in winter or for outdoor PE
White ankle socks
Plimsolls for summer or indoor PE, trainers for winter or outdoor PE
School sweatshirt when needed
Jewellery
The wearing of jewellery is not permitted at school. If your child has pierced ears, then sleepers or small studs may be worn as long as the child can remove them for PE. For safety reasons, earrings cannot be worn in a PE lesson. If your child cannot remove their sleepers or studs comfortably themselves at school, please remove them for them at home on the days that your child has PE timetabled.
