Welcome to St Paul's Walden School, we hope our web site gives you a window into our lovely school. An opportunity to share in some of the new, exciting, interesting and informative aspects of school life.

St Paul's Walden School is located in the village of Whitwell, near Hitchin. Our pupils come from the local village, surrounding hamlets of the parish and the town of Hitchin. Our school is surrounded by a vast natural learning environment which extends the curriculum fully to embrace our outdoor learning zones. We currently have an extensive field, sensory art garden and wildlife area with a pond . We have strong established links with our community and regularly visit St Pauls Waldenbury and the surrounding farms to offer seasonal environmental learning opportunities.

We are passionate at providing a creative and challenging curriculum that embraces the interests, skills and aptitudes of all our pupils. Our children are encouraged to strive for excellence in every area and the teachers at our school are committed to enabling the personal success of each and every pupil.

One of the joys of our small school is that every child is known and their talents and strengths, whether academic, social, sporting or artistic can be recognised and celebrated. Our children are enthusiastic, confident and excellent ambassadors for our school.

We know that genuine education is a partnership between home and school, and hope that you will feel free to come in and see us at any time. If you would like to know more, or see our learning school then, please do not hesitate to contact us. You will be made most welcome.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing with you and your children their learning journey.
